Que es de Melanie Amaro?
La recordamos por ganar en 2011 la primera edición de la versión estadounidense de The X Factor. Se presentó con la gran "Listen" de Beyoncé y la volvió inolvidable. Luego de triunfar en el reality show no logró lanzar su álbum debut, solo el single "Don't fail me now" que fracasó en ventas. Pese al fracaso comercial en su joven carrera y a ser aun desconocida para muchos, tiene una gran voz y un talento que se ha visto menospreciado por las casas discográficas que han decidido no darle un disco por no verla lo suficientemente rentable. 

Veamos su paso por The X Factor...

En su audición entonó "Listen"Realizó un cover del himno "Respect" de Aretha Franklin bajo Pepsi como sponsor.En la gran final del talent show volvió a deleitarnos con "Listen"

Ahora si la respuesta de en que anda Melanie...la respuesta es que ya sin casa discográfica ha lanzado un single de forma independiente, titulado "Dust" a dúo con Fabolous (rapero estadounidense) y que pese a no liderar ninguna lista y tener pocos views en youtube da muestra de su versatilidad y potencial. Justo ahora Melanie se halla según su web entre estudios de grabación y de seguro preparando cosas nuevas.

No es sorpresa que hasta ahora no haya llegado aun a los 500 seguidores en Twitter ni a los 5000 en instagram una pena.

Al parecer hasta su primer cuenta en Twitter esta en juego pues en el vídeo del nuevo single promociona el nuevo que aun no llega a los 500 followers. Su twitter tradicional @ItsMelanieAmaro tiene 298.000 seguidores hasta ahora pero ya no es su twitter principal.Lastimosamente las disqueras de hoy están atentas a las boybands como "One Direction" y la música que haga mojar las bragas de jovenes fans y no en pro de verdaderos talentos como el de Melanie. En fin, lo mejor no es siempre lo que mas vende. Y en la industria musical de hoy te mantienes con promoción, ventas, fans y dinero.
